Trump’s Plan for Tax Relief

In today’s press briefing Secretary Sarah Sanders began with talking about President Donald J Trump’s tax relief plan. Sander’s didn’t get into specifics but announced that President Trump would reveal the details of his tax relief plan this Wednesday (9/27/17) in Indiana. Sanders said “These details will include specific proposed rates for individuals, small businesses, and corporations, and he will also discuss the elimination of loopholes that have rigged the current tax code in favor of the wealthy and well-connected.” We will have to wait until Wednesdays to get the full details of President Trumps plan, but this tax relief plan sounds like it will definitely help the average American. If these reforms are as good as they sound they should “deliver massive job creation and economic growth.”

The Future of Public Education

Today Secretary Sarah Sanders also talked about future changes to the public education system. Sander’s announced that today Trump will sign a memo directing Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to make computer science a higher priority for the Department of Education. The memo also “directs her to establish a goal of devoting at least $200 million per year in grant funds toward this priority.” The goal is to better educate children in grades K-12 in new technologies. The world has changed drastically in the last decade alone, so it is exciting to hear that the education system will focus more on educating our young people in these technologies that have completely changes our society.
